What you'll be doing
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists by fostering an innovative environment, managing recruitment, and setting clear performance goals.
- Own the data science roadmap by defining project priorities, managing resources, and overseeing the full lifecycle of initiatives from initial exploration to model deployment and impact assessment.
- Drive data strategy by collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable projects, providing technical guidance on machine learning practices, and advocating for a data-centric culture across the organization.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in data science and leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data science or machine learning, including 3 or more years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, along with experience in machine learning, data mining, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
