Data Science Lead at Prove

We are currently seeking a Data Science Lead for a full-time, remote position to serve as a strategic architect for our data ecosystem. Responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable data architectures that support advanced analytics, machine learning modeling, and real-time data processing.
• Lead research and development initiatives, including scouting and pressure-testing new data sources and conducting proof of concept projects to validate new technologies.
• Standardize our internal methodologies for statistical analysis and experimental design while establishing rigorous validation protocols to ensure model integrity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 6 years of experience in data science or data engineering, including a minimum of 2 years in a technical leadership or architectural capacity.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R, alongside experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong technical familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, and Airflow, as well as modern MLOps tools.
• Deep expertise in schema design, data modeling, and bridging the gap between research environments and production systems.
• The ability to clearly communicate complex technical architectures to non-technical stakeholders.

What we offer
