We are currently looking for a Data Science & Engineering Lead to join our team in Australia and help us shape the future of our data strategy.

Key outcomes

• Direct the development and deployment of machine learning models that align with our core business goals.
• Build and refine the personalization models that define the user experience for our members.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data engineers to foster innovation and professional growth.
• Formulate and execute data strategies that prioritize scalability, efficiency, and strict regulatory compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional departments to identify their data requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Supervise the architecture and maintenance of our data infrastructure, including ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Establish robust data governance policies to guarantee security, privacy, and compliance.
• Oversee resource allocation, project timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends in data science and engineering to continuously improve our technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior or head-level data leadership role.
• Proven success in managing and leading high-performing teams of data engineers.
• A strong background in crafting and implementing comprehensive data strategies.
• Technical proficiency in data infrastructure management, pipeline design, and messaging processes.
• Expertise in data governance, with a focus on security and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, CDP technologies, and modern data frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of data analytics and machine learning applications.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Marketing Technology (Martech) platforms and their practical application.
• Fluency in English.
