What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Data Science Engineer to join us in a full time, remote capacity. In this position, you will be instrumental in adapting our core technology to meet specific market needs. You will help drive the next generation of our platform by applying your expertise in machine learning and natural language processing to real world challenges.
What will you do?
- You will lead the entire lifecycle of NLP solutions, from identifying business problems and gathering datasets to modeling, testing, and validating your results.
- You will collaborate closely with product owners and solutions engineers to ensure our core capabilities align with the specific requirements of our customers.
- You will partner with our engineering team to design, implement, and deploy robust models into production environments.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and a passion for natural language processing. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in NLP and machine learning, specifically within production environments rather than academic coursework.
- A solid foundation in statistical machine learning and modern NLP techniques.
- Practical experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python or Java.
- Proven experience in client facing roles where you have successfully identified requirements and translated them into technical strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- The ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and adapt to shifting project requirements.
