About the Role
We are seeking a Data Science Engineer to join our team in a full-time, mid-level capacity. In this role, you will serve as a bridge between complex healthcare data and actionable insights. You will work in a fully remote environment, collaborating with our product and subject matter experts to build solutions that simplify the financial experience for patients and providers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams and subject matter experts to design, prototype, and implement innovative data solutions.
- Integrate disparate datasets, such as claims, demographics, and contract rates, to provide meaningful value to our clients.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines while applying advanced data science techniques to visualize and report on key findings.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong technical foundation and a passion for solving complex problems. We value candidates who bring the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical or analytical role within revenue cycle management or healthcare consulting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python and SQL, with at least 2 years of experience building custom data models and pipelines.
- A deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, including reimbursement mechanisms, claims pricing, and payer-provider contracting.
- The ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote setting.
Location
This position is remote and open to candidates based in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $155,000. Beyond your base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth:
