We are DoubleVerify, a public big data analytics firm that processes tens of billions of advertisements daily for global leaders like Nike, AT&T, and Disney. Our technology ensures that digital ads across web, mobile, and CTV platforms are fraud-free, brand-safe, and viewable. Operating at a massive scale of over 100 billion events per day, we provide real-time insights that help the world’s largest brands optimize their advertising impact. We are currently looking for a Data Platform Manager to join our team in Israel on a full-time, on-site basis to help lead our transition to a modernized big data Lakehouse platform.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of experienced data engineers while overseeing the development of our big data platform.
Orchestrate the migration to a new Databricks-based Lakehouse on Google Cloud, managing challenges like massive-scale stream ingestion and enterprise-grade data governance.
Collaborate with product management to define our data strategy, improve daily processing of terabytes of data, and establish best practices across our R&D organization.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in both technical and people management, specifically leading platform, infrastructure, or data engineering teams within high-scale environments.
Proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java with at least 4 years of hands-on development experience.
Deep technical expertise in batch and streaming technologies, such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
Proven experience working with public cloud providers like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
Strong familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, alongside a passion for exploring and implementing cutting-edge big data tools.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, leader-by-example mindset.
