If you have viewed an online ad on a mobile, web, or CTV device, there is a strong chance our technology measured it. We handle over 100 billion events daily at peak speeds, providing real-time insights to ensure ad fraud prevention, brand safety, and viewability for Fortune 500 companies. We are looking for a talented Data Platform Manager to join our team in Israel and help us solve complex challenges at a massive scale.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of experienced data engineers while overseeing the development of our modernized big data Lakehouse platform on Google Cloud using Databricks.
- You will collaborate with our Data Product Managers to define and execute our data strategy, focusing on improving the processing of terabytes of daily data while maintaining high quality standards.
- You will serve as a technical guide for our R&D organization, conducting proofs of concept with emerging data tools and establishing best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should be a versatile technical leader with a passion for big data technologies. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in both people and technical management, specifically leading platform, infrastructure, or data engineering teams in high-scale environments.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python, Scala, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with streaming or batching technologies like Kafka, as well as stream processing tools such as Spark or Flink.
- Strong familiarity with public cloud providers like Google Cloud, along with experience using BigQuery, Vertica, and Docker.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to remove bottlenecks and improve development velocity.
- Fluency in English.
