With R&D centers across the globe, including our hub in Israel, we are looking for a talented leader to join us in solving complex challenges that shape the future of the digital advertising industry.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of experienced data engineers while overseeing the development of our modernized big data Lakehouse platform on GCP using Databricks.
- You will collaborate with our Data Product Managers to define and execute our data strategy, focusing on improving the efficiency of our massive daily data processes while maintaining high quality standards.
- You will act as a technical guide for other R&D teams, establishing best practices, conducting research on emerging data tools, and ensuring our platform effectively serves developers, data scientists, and ML engineers.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in technical leadership and big data infrastructure. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in both people and technical management, specifically leading platform, backend, or data engineering teams in high-scale environments.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
- Hands-on expertise with streaming or batch processing technologies like Kafka, Spark, or Flink.
- A deep understanding of public cloud environments, preferably GCP, along with familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, and modern data architectures.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with a proven ability to mentor team members and improve development velocity.
- Professional proficiency in English.
