Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in Israel. This is a hybrid role where you will play a key part in designing and maintaining our big data architecture. You will work alongside a global team of experts to ensure our platforms remain scalable, reliable, and cutting-edge.
Your impact
- Build and maintain robust data processing pipelines using Kafka to facilitate real-time streaming.
- Manage and optimize our search infrastructure by leveraging Elasticsearch technologies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers and data analysts, to translate complex business needs into high-performance technical specifications.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with 3 or more years specifically focused on big data technologies like Kafka and Elasticsearch.
- Strong proficiency in Java and familiarity with modern development frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and system reliability.
- Fluency in English to collaborate effectively within our global environment.
