We are Tatari, and we are transforming the TV advertising landscape by helping brands like Calm and Rocket Money scale through automated, data-driven media buying. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will join our core team to design and scale the infrastructure that powers our analytics, data science, and engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

Build and scale the robust infrastructure that supports our entire data ecosystem.
Establish industry-standard data engineering practices across the organization.
Evaluate, introduce, and integrate new technologies to improve our current data stack.
Collaborate with your team to ensure our systems are efficient, reliable, and capable of supporting our rapid growth.
Drive the adoption of modern tools and advocate for technical improvements.

Must-haves

At least 3 years of experience focused on building data pipelines and scaling data infrastructure.
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with cloud-based infrastructure, specifically AWS and Databricks.
Strong proficiency in Python.
Practical experience deploying and managing frameworks including Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Comfort working with PySpark and a solid understanding of OLAP and OLTP databases like Postgres and Clickhouse.
Experience implementing data security, access controls, and management protocols.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Previous experience working within ML operations.
