We are Qonto, the leading finance workspace in Europe. We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join us in a remote capacity to help scale our infrastructure and empower our AI and data teams.

Responsibilities

Own the setup, management, and maintenance of our core infrastructure tools, including Kubernetes, Airflow, and AWS.
Collaborate directly with our AI Product teams to implement tools that operationalize machine learning models.
Lead cross-team initiatives that bridge the gap between platform engineering and product delivery.
Maintain high standards for engineering excellence by conducting design reviews and ensuring high-quality Python code.
Drive the continuous improvement of our engineering practices within a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.

Must-haves

At least 4 years of professional experience in software or data engineering with a focus on platform and infrastructure.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in a cloud-native environment, preferably on AWS.
Proven ability to manage orchestration tools like Airflow.
Comfort with infrastructure-as-code principles and CI/CD workflows.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to act as a technical bridge between different teams.
Fluency in English.
