About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Ops Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing our data infrastructure and ensuring our systems remain efficient, secure, and scalable. You will work closely with project teams to support our cloud and database environments while maintaining the high standards of reliability that our millions of users expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain multiple database and cloud environments to support our business partners and project teams.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure our databases and tooling remain operational.
- Implement and uphold security best practices while managing user access and following established SDLC protocols for all code and database changes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in database development.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Python or C#.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following technologies: Snowflake, SQL Server, Postgres, Mongo, or MySQL.
- Experience with orchestration tools like Astronomer or Airflow.
- Strong communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to documentation.
- Bonus points for experience with AWS or Azure, CICD workflows, and data technologies like Kafka, Matillion, or DBT.
Location
This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.
