The role
We are looking for a Data Operations Specialist to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a mid-level position designed for a professional who is passionate about their craft and eager to contribute to our mission. In this role, you will serve as a domain expert within our Data Operations team, collaborating closely with engineers and analysts to maintain the accuracy and consistency of our brokerage data.
Core responsibilities
- Manage data operation requests, including the onboarding and offboarding of custodial integrations for firms using our internal tooling.
- Collaborate with our support teams to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve complex data issues while identifying process enhancements to improve overall data quality.
- Partner with Data Operations Engineers to define and implement automated monitors and workflows that increase the efficiency of our data platform.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this position, you should have a strong background in financial operations and data analysis. We require the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working in an analyst or operations role within the financial industry.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience performing data analysis using intermediate to advanced SQL, including proficiency with joins, grouping, and aggregation.
- Practical knowledge of custodial integrations and the ability to troubleshoot investment returns, account reconciliation, cost basis discrepancies, and corporate action processing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail when working with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this position is $124,000 to $158,000 USD. In addition to your base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and long-term success:
