About the Role

We are seeking a Data Operations Engineer II to join our team on a full-time basis. This mid-level position focuses on supporting our data engineering and business intelligence teams to ensure our pipelines and platforms remain efficient and functional. You will play a vital role in generating market intelligence and maintaining the systems that drive our financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL workflows for financial operations data using Alteryx and SQL within SSMS and Big Query environments.
• Utilize Looker to model data, generate custom reports for stakeholders, and manage the flow of business intelligence information.
• Implement data modeling using Python to create in-house marketing tools and analyze variable correlations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a commitment to data integrity. We require a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, along with two years of experience in data engineering or analysis. Alternatively, we will accept a Bachelor’s degree combined with five years of relevant experience. You must demonstrate proficiency in automating ETL workflows, utilizing Looker for financial reporting, and applying Python for data modeling.

Location

This position is based out of our office in Chicago, IL, though we offer the flexibility of 100% remote work for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $132,000 to $144,000. In addition to your compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, including:
