At Employer Direct Healthcare, our mission is to transform how people access high-quality surgical care. As the leading provider of Independent Centers of Excellence, we have built the largest surgeon-first network in the industry to help self-insured employers provide better outcomes for their teams. We have already saved our clients over $700 million and supported millions of individuals across the United States. We are looking for people who care deeply about solving complex problems and who want to join a collaborative, diverse team dedicated to fixing the flaws in our healthcare system.

The role

We are seeking a mid-level Data Operations Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position that serves as a vital bridge between our business units and our IT Data Operations team. You will be responsible for translating complex business needs into actionable technical solutions, ensuring that our data processes remain scalable and efficient as we continue to grow.

Core responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for data operational projects, managing timelines and quality assurance for all deliverables.
  • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear, actionable tasks for our development team.
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, solution analysis, and Agile ceremonies to keep our internal and external stakeholders aligned on progress.

Skills and experience

  • Three to five years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and the ability to independently lead team ceremonies.
  • Experience using Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Rally, or VersionOne.
  • Proven technical skills in process engineering, requirements gathering, and technical documentation.
  • A background in the healthcare industry and knowledge of SQL are considered strong assets for this role.
  • A bachelor’s degree in IT is preferred, though we welcome candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation and benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health and long-term financial well-being. Our team members enjoy the following perks:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life insurance and short-term and long-term disability coverage.
  • 401k plan with a company match.
  • Paid time off and paid parental leave.
  • The flexibility of a hybrid work environment.

How to apply

If you are detail-oriented, driven by progress, and ready to make a tangible impact on the healthcare industry, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application, and a member of our HR team will reach out to guide you through our interview process.
