About the Role
We are seeking a Data Management Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a mid-level role focused on the collection, preparation, and reporting of critical statistical data. You will provide essential technical support for the analytical processes and tools used across various lines of insurance, ensuring that our data infrastructure remains robust and effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new reports and applications by pulling information from multiple sources while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the data.
- Collaborate closely with actuaries, accountants, product managers, and IT staff to define business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Conduct thorough research into data quality issues and propose innovative solutions to streamline reporting and analytical workflows.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess a strong background in data architecture, governance, and mining. We are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business insights.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Python and SQL, along with high proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Analytical Expertise: A deep understanding of statistical analysis, including the ability to identify anomalies, outliers, and trends that impact decision-making.
- Data Governance: Experience in upholding data integrity, security, and usability standards across large-scale systems.
- Communication: The ability to present complex data findings through clear visualizations and professional correspondence.
- Language: Fluency in English is required for this role.
