Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Product Analyst to join our team to work for a top 10 US Insurance Carrier.

Locations: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico.

Responsible for the collection, preparation and reporting of statistical data including technical support for tools and/or other analytic processes used for specified lines of insurance.

Essential Job Functions:

Develops and prepares new reports and applications using multiple sources of information. Evaluates information being reported for consistency, completeness, accuracy and reasonableness. Maintains and provides support for existing tools and applications used in the analyses of information. Communicates with actuaries, accountants, product managers and I/T staff regarding data requirements and/or business requirements involving new reports or applications. Prepares internal and/or external correspondence related to the development and understanding of information. Conducts research into proposed solutions regarding data quality issues as well as for the development of new reports or applications.

Requirements

Data Analytics Core Tools

Proficient in utilizing core tools for Data Analytics, including Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Python, and SQL.

Data Architecture

Establishes the blueprint for data and its flow through data storage systems and downstream applications. Defines the underlying data environment through data transformation rules, data grain, or other principles that align with business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives’ expectations.

Data Governance and Management

Oversees the availability, consistency, usability, integrity, and security of data within the organization. Sets and upholds internal data policies that govern the gathering, storage, processing, and disposal of data.

Data Mining and Engineering

Applies expertise in data mining practices, tools, and technologies to uncover patterns in data, converting raw data into valuable actionable information that adheres to consistent and standardized business expectations. Designs and builds systems, applications, or utilities for data collection, storage, transformation, reporting, and analysis at scale. Ensures data integrity, consistency, and conformity from various sources to facilitate consumption and utilization, including the collection, cleaning, and organization of raw data prior to processing or analysis to address specific business problems or needs.

Data Visualization and Reporting

Experienced in utilizing various visual aids to effectively communicate insights and observations derived from data. Applies appropriate tools and techniques to present data characteristics in a concise manner, enabling the discovery of opportunities, identification of risks, analysis of trends, communication of recommendations, and driving effective decision-making.

Statistical and Descriptive Analysis

Employs knowledge of diverse statistical and analytical metrics, equations, and practices. Utilizes appropriate tools for understanding data and its relevance to business problems/scenarios. Identifies missing values, outliers, anomalies, or skewed distributions before communicating recommendations to decision-makers.
