At BioAgilytix, we are looking for a dedicated Data Management Lead to serve as our primary expert for all things data. We operate at the intersection of technology and life sciences, providing critical support to pharmaceutical sponsors by ensuring lab and business information remains accurate, secure, and easily accessible. In this role, you will act as a player-coach, handling the technical heavy lifting yourself while simultaneously developing the roadmap for our future data team. You will be responsible for building the rules, processes, and cloud-based pipelines that keep our operations running smoothly and in full compliance with rigorous industry standards.
What you'll be doing
- Design and implement robust ETL processes and API integrations using tools like Azure Data Factory to ensure seamless data flow between core systems, such as LIMS and ERP.
- Establish a comprehensive data governance framework, including the definition of quality standards, access controls, and automated validation checks to maintain high data integrity.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of validated data sets to our pharmaceutical sponsors, ensuring that all information is harmonized, audit-ready, and delivered within strict timelines.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this position, you should have at least 10 years of experience in data management or governance, ideally within a highly regulated field like pharmaceuticals or healthcare. You are a self-directed professional who is comfortable working hands-on with complex data engineering tasks while maintaining a strategic view of long-term goals. Your technical toolkit should include proficiency in SQL, Azure Data Factory, and API integrations. You should also be skilled in using visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to translate raw data into actionable insights. Because you will be working in a fast-paced environment, you must have a deep understanding of data quality and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, GxP, and GDPR. Fluency in English is required for this role, and you should be prepared to work on-site in the United States.
What you'll get
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and future. You will receive:
- Medical insurance, including HDHP with HSA and PPO options.
- Dental and vision insurance coverage.
- Generous paid time off, including 4 weeks per year, parental leave, and 14 total paid holidays.
- A 401k plan with an employer match.
- Additional perks such as flexible spending accounts, short-term and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and an employee referral program.
