The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Data Integration Specialist to join our growing engineering team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the backbone of our data operations, ensuring that our platform provides real value to local governments. You will take ownership of our data warehouse structure and lead the development of essential business connectors. By working closely with both our internal teams and our clients, you will ensure our data solutions are robust, scalable, and perfectly aligned with the needs of the communities we serve.

A day in the life

• Design and implement high-performance data integration models that solve complex challenges for government agencies and local departments.
• Develop and maintain reliable SQL queries to populate our data marts while documenting our warehouse architecture to ensure clarity for all stakeholders.
• Act as a key technical point of contact for our clients, collaborating with them to identify their specific requirements and translating those needs into effective data strategies.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of experience in database design, integration, and development, ideally within the public sector. You possess a deep technical toolkit and a collaborative spirit. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Expertise in SQL and hands-on experience with database management systems like Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and SQLAlchemy.
• A solid grasp of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• The ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical peers and non-technical clients.
• Fluency in French.
