What you'll be doing
- You will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure that supports the storage, processing, and analysis of massive datasets.
- You will evaluate and implement new tools to ensure our data systems remain secure, cost-effective, and highly performant.
- You will establish best practices for data infrastructure while continuously optimizing our pipelines to resolve bottlenecks and ensure reliability.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and a passion for working with large-scale systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a production environment as a Data Infrastructure Engineer.
- Deep technical proficiency with open-source data technologies, particularly Apache Spark and Apache Hadoop.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala, along with experience in scripting and automation.
- Hands-on expertise with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- A solid understanding of Linux systems and networking protocols.
- Fluency in English to collaborate effectively within our multinational team.
