The opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned Data Infra Tech Lead to anchor our Data Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our data capabilities, ensuring that we manage information at scale with both efficiency and reliability. You will take ownership of critical architectural decisions, lead high-impact initiatives, and mentor our talented engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence. This is a chance to shape the foundation of our data ecosystem while working alongside software engineers, data scientists, and key stakeholders to deliver solutions that move the needle for our customers.

A day in the life

• You will spearhead the design and development of secure, scalable data storage and processing systems that serve as the bedrock for our company-wide operations.
• You will take charge of our machine learning and LLM infrastructure, optimizing the platforms we use to train, deploy, and monitor models in production.
• You will mentor team members and define best practices for automation and CI/CD, ensuring that our data services remain robust, compliant, and easy to deploy.

Who you are

You are a leader who thrives in complex technical environments and possesses a deep understanding of data services and ML Ops. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively across teams, and have a proven track record of driving technical initiatives to completion. Your background includes:

• At least 7 years of experience in backend engineering or data infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Deep expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as data warehouse technologies like Snowflake or Databricks.
• Advanced skills in backend programming languages, specifically Python or NodeJS.
• A history of successful leadership, including mentoring engineers and managing stakeholders.
