At Mindbloom, we are on a mission to transform lives to change the world. Founded in 2018, we have grown into the number one trusted brand in psychedelic therapy. Today, we are the largest national provider of ketamine therapy for depression, anxiety, and PTSD, offering a premium, clinically effective experience that remains affordable for everyday Americans from the comfort of their own homes. With over 300,000 treatments delivered annually across 38 states, we are dedicated to making life-changing outcomes measurable. As we look toward the future, we are preparing to offer the next generation of psychedelic medicines, including MDMA and psilocybin. We are a mission-obsessed, intense, and fun environment where we take our work seriously but never ourselves. If you are a voracious learner committed to excellence, we want you on our team.
The opportunity
As our Data Engineering Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building the infrastructure that powers every client breakthrough. You will be responsible for accelerating our ability to personalize care and scale our therapy services. This role is about more than just managing data. It is about creating the systems that allow us to measure and improve life-changing outcomes. You will drive engineering velocity through robust pipelines, precise tracking, and AI-powered workflows while mentoring a talented team to set the gold standard for our data ecosystem.
A day in the life
- Design and scale the cloud architecture that powers large-scale ELT workflows and real-time data pipelines across our entire platform.
- Implement CI/CD practices for data, ranging from deployment to monitoring, to ensure we can iterate rapidly while maintaining system stability.
- Lead, mentor, and champion best practices for a high-performing team, driving the adoption of modern AI tools to elevate our engineering velocity and pipeline quality.
Who you are
You are a consummate developer and architect who upholds exemplary coding, testing, and observability standards. You act as a true steward for our codebase and the client experience it supports. You are a resourceful owner who leverages both deep experience and state-of-the-art tools to solve complex problems with a bias for action. Because our work is deeply personal, we are looking for someone who is mission-obsessed and has firsthand experience with altered states of consciousness. You thrive in a remote-first, writing-based culture that values freedom and responsibility, and you are fluent in English. Your technical toolkit should include proficiency in Python, Postgres, AWS, and data platforms like Snowflake, Segment, Amplitude, and Looker.
Why you'll love it here
We believe in transforming the lives of our team members just as much as our clients. You will enjoy a fully remote environment that prioritizes deep work and flexibility. Our compensation package for this role includes an annual salary range of $110,000 - $165,000 USD, alongside the potential for equity upside. Our benefits package is designed to support your health, well-being, and professional growth:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Employer-sponsored 401k plan.
- Generous paid time off policy.
- Access to psychedelic therapy with 90% off for you and 40% off for your family.
- Opportunities to connect through annual company retreats and department offsites.
