We are currently looking for a Data Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will lead the charge in building a brand-new, greenfield data platform while overseeing the transition away from our legacy systems. You will focus on mentoring our talented engineers, setting technical direction, and ensuring our data infrastructure scales to meet the needs of our growing business.

Responsibilities

• Empower and mentor your team members to ensure high performance, professional growth, and technical excellence.
• Lead the development of a modern, scalable data platform while managing the decommissioning of our legacy environment.
• Partner with product and business stakeholders to align technical strategy with company goals and ensure the successful delivery of data projects.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about building high-performing teams and robust data systems. You should possess the following qualifications:

• A strong background in people management, with a proven ability to coach and develop engineering talent.
• Hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, specifically with cloud migration and replatforming within AWS environments.
• Deep technical expertise in Redshift, Snowflake, and DBT for data modeling and transformation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse business units.
