What is this role?
We are looking for a Data Engineering Lead to join us on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a leadership-level position for an experienced professional who will own the design, development, and maintenance of our data infrastructure. You will be the driving force behind our data platform, ensuring that we process large volumes of information efficiently so our business can make high-quality, data-driven decisions.
What will you do?
- Design and implement scalable data architectures that meet our organization's evolving processing needs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Oversee the development of robust ETL processes to extract and transform data, ensuring high standards of data quality, cleansing, and validation throughout the pipeline.
- Manage the integration of data solutions with cloud platforms and implement performance monitoring tools to optimize workflows and proactively resolve technical issues.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have 6 to 8 years of professional experience in data engineering and a degree in Computer Science or a related field. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing, specifically with Snowflake.
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, data ingestion, data lakes, and data governance.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of our mission, as your perspective on our work is just as important to us as your technical credentials.
What's in it for you?
Joining our team means becoming part of a dynamic environment where your work directly influences global ESG standards. You will have the opportunity to lead complex projects and collaborate with a diverse group of experts in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.
