The role

We are looking for an Executive Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in either Singapore or the United States. This is a senior-level position for someone with over seven years of experience who is ready to take ownership of our data architecture. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how we handle information, ensuring that our infrastructure is as robust and agile as the markets we serve.

Core responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and warehousing solutions to manage complex financial data requirements.
• Optimize the performance of our data infrastructure by implementing rigorous quality measures and automated monitoring systems.
• Collaborate closely with our product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to deliver data solutions that provide strategic insights and support critical decision-making.

Skills and experience

• At least 7 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Deep technical proficiency with the modern data stack, specifically Snowflake and AWS.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, warehouse design, and industry-standard ETL practices.
• Experience working with distributed systems, data streaming technologies like Kafka or Kinesis, and optimizing large-scale data workflows.
• A proven track record of handling urgent, business-critical data requests with both speed and accuracy.
• Professional fluency in English.
