What you bring

We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in the United States, specifically in San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid work schedule requiring office attendance on Wednesdays and Thursdays. You will play a key role in managing our data infrastructure and supporting our product teams. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing scalable systems to ingest and transform complex data streams.
• Collaborating with organizational leaders to build and refine performance metrics through data visualization and analysis.
• Improving our data release processes while maintaining and iterating on our existing data pipelines.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have 1 to 3 years of professional experience with Python and ETL processes. You must be comfortable writing and executing complex SQL queries and have a solid understanding of data pipeline design and maintenance. We value candidates who are familiar with Scrum and Agile methodologies. While not required, experience with AWS, Elasticsearch, Django, and building internal API services will set you apart. What we offer
