What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join us on a contractor basis at our location in Brazil. You will be instrumental in building robust data architectures while working with a stack that includes Python, AWS, and microservices. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing scalable data solutions in close collaboration with our data scientists and analysts.
- Promoting high standards for reliability and efficiency across the entire client data ecosystem.
- Managing your tasks in small, transparent increments while participating in Agile ceremonies with global team members.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess at least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering. We value candidates who have a strong grasp of design patterns and a deep understanding of Data Lake concepts and layers. You must be proficient in Python and comfortable working with AWS services, including Lambda, IAM, and Boto3. Familiarity with MWAA and version control via GitHub is essential. Beyond your technical hard skills, we look for individuals who communicate clearly in English and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
