What you'll be doing
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, Spark, and Airflow to ensure seamless data movement into our data lake.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership while defining the long-term strategy and innovation roadmaps for our data engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, finance, and operations, to maintain the integrity of our data infrastructure and develop user-friendly data models.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for building systems that make a real difference. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering with a specific focus on data engineering.
- Expertise in SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with ETL frameworks, data modeling, and designing complex data architectures.
- Familiarity with both batch and streaming data infrastructure, as well as data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
- A degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively across our globally distributed organization.
