About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be the primary architect for our data infrastructure, including our data flows, warehouses, and schemas. You will be responsible for building a world-class platform that scales with our business, improves data accessibility for our internal teams, and drives our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure efficient data movement across our various services and environments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify infrastructure pain points and implement high-impact solutions that improve data reliability and monitoring.
- Develop scalable workflows and self-service data products that empower our analysts and data scientists to perform deep research and predictive modeling.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Your qualifications should include:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
- Expertise in data warehousing platforms, specifically AWS RedShift or Snowflake, and familiarity with lakehouse architectures.
- Proficiency in SQL and common programming languages such as Python or Spark.
- Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies like AWS Kinesis or Firehose.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow and integration services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical designs into clear business strategies.
