The opportunity
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in São Paulo, Brazil. This is a full-time role that offers a hybrid work environment, requiring you to visit our office at least once a week. You will play a vital role in our engineering department, working on high-impact projects that help our retail clients unlock the power of body data. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow with us and help scale our data platforms as we continue to lead the industry.
A day in the life
- You will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Python and Airflow, while also managing transformations through SQL Server stored procedures and dbt.
- You will build and refine OLAP cubes and data models, ensuring our database performance stays sharp as our business scales.
- You will collaborate closely with our business teams to onboard new clients and take ownership of data quality and monitoring frameworks to ensure our systems remain scalable and reliable.
Who you are
You are a humble and passionate engineer who enjoys writing clean code while remaining comfortable collaborating with sales, account managers, and fellow developers. You bring a positive attitude to our team and are excited to solve complex technical challenges. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- At least two years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS.
- Excellent communication skills in English, as you will need to interface effectively with our team.
- A proactive mindset for troubleshooting and a genuine excitement for learning new technologies.
- Experience with dbt is considered a great bonus.
