About the Role
We are hiring a Data Engineer for a Full Time, mid-level position. In this role, you will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures using platforms like Azure, Snowflake, and Airflow. You will work both independently and collaboratively to improve our analytical capabilities and provide deeper insights across our global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data modeling frameworks within our Enterprise Data Warehouse to ensure consistent and predictable methodologies for all data processing.
- Develop efficient ETL and ELT processes to move data effectively through both batch and CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain high engineering standards by utilizing test-driven development, agile management, and continuous integration to optimize our data workflows.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a solid technical foundation and a passion for data engineering. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, mathematics, or a related engineering field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar data engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and Spark.
- Familiarity with data streaming using Kafka and version control via Git.
- Experience designing data models based on Kimball Dimensional Modeling principles.
