Data Engineer at Lugano Diamonds

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in the United States to build the foundation of our data infrastructure and help us turn raw information into strategic business insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable pipelines to process and analyze large datasets.
• Execute complex data analysis to uncover trends and actionable patterns.
• Build and refine data models, algorithms, and machine learning solutions to support our business goals.
• Manage end-to-end ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Create impactful data visualizations and reports for stakeholders across the company.
• Partner with various departments to identify their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain high standards for data integrity through rigorous validation and testing.
• Keep pace with emerging industry trends and best practices in engineering and analytics.

Must-haves

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and relational database management.
• Strong technical background in data warehousing and ETL frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data technologies, such as Synapse, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Proficiency with Power BI and other statistical analysis tools.
• An analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage priorities in a dynamic setting.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English.
