What you bring
We are looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our team on a Full Time basis. This role is available Anywhere, offering a Hybrid work arrangement. You will be instrumental in building and optimizing the data systems that power our financial products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining a centralized data system that includes data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Constructing the infrastructure necessary for the efficient extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources using SQL and AWS technologies.
- Developing analytics tools and reports that provide our teams with actionable insights into operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated problem solver with 3 to 5 years of professional experience in data engineering. You should hold a degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Information Systems. We require strong proficiency in Python and SQL, along with a solid understanding of Linux environments. You should be comfortable working with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch and event-streaming platforms such as Kafka. Beyond your technical skills, we value candidates who are detail-oriented, possess strong communication abilities, and are eager to learn new technologies while working effectively in a cross-functional team.
