Role at a glance

Your impact
- Deliver high-impact solutions across diverse industries, either by working independently or by leading small, agile delivery teams on fast-paced projects.
- Manage direct customer relationships and provide expert technical guidance to ensure our clients achieve their data goals.
- Scale your influence across the organization by mentoring junior engineers, maintaining high quality standards, and actively contributing to our talent acquisition efforts.
What you'll need
- A consultant mindset that prioritizes the customer experience and focuses on providing expert advice rather than just executing tasks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to any audience.
- Strong foundations in software engineering, including significant experience with Unix or Linux and a deep understanding of distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL, along with a track record of designing data-intensive applications in cloud environments.
- A passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing, as we view ourselves as a continuous learning organization.
- Fluency in English and a willingness to travel within the EU for business trips up to 15% of the time.
Perks and compensation
- World-class professional development, including access to internal and public Databricks courses, paid certifications, and dedicated time for learning during work hours.
- Flexible working arrangements, including flexible hours and a hybrid office policy.
- Comprehensive health and wellness support, featuring private medical insurance via Generali and an Employee Assistance Program for psychology, financial, and legal consulting.
- Top-tier equipment, including a MacBook Pro and ergonomic office furniture like Herman Miller chairs and standing desks.
- A vibrant office culture in the heart of Budapest, complete with snacks, drinks, and regular team social events.
- Paid time off to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
