We are currently looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a critical role in our data department, helping us build best-in-class analytical capabilities and data products that empower our organization to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with our analysis and development teams to lead data modeling efforts that support our business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to design and build robust data application projects that align with our broader organizational goals.
- Apply your technical expertise to manage large-scale data processing and ensure the integrity of our data architecture.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in data warehousing, specifically with dimension modeling and hands-on ETL processes for massive datasets.
- Strong proficiency in big data technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Flink, Presto, and ClickHouse.
- Advanced SQL skills, including a deep understanding of performance tuning and Hive SQL development.
- Practical experience coding in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, Shell, or Scala.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
