The opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our remote team and take ownership of our end-to-end data pipelines. In this role, you will be central to building the infrastructure that delivers our core enterprise data offerings. You will collaborate with a diverse group of engineers to optimize how we ingest and process complex healthcare datasets, directly influencing the quality of care we provide to patients across the country.
A day in the life
- You will write production-level Python and Snowflake SQL to maintain and improve our ETL pipelines.
- You will integrate data unit tests into our development and deployment workflows to ensure high data quality.
- You will leverage AWS services to deploy and manage our data APIs, ensuring our systems remain scalable and reliable.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with at least four years of experience in data engineering. You possess a deep understanding of healthcare claims data and have a proven track record of building production-grade ETL processes. You are comfortable working with large datasets, and you have strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and AWS frameworks like S3, DynamoDB, and Step Functions. Since we operate as a remote-first team, you have excellent communication skills in English and maintain a private, high-speed workspace to ensure information security and HIPAA compliance.
