What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Identity Team in India. This is a full-time, hybrid position designed for an experienced professional who enjoys balancing technical precision with creative problem-solving. You will play a critical role in developing the systems that estimate audience consumption, working with massive datasets that require a high degree of focus on performance and architecture.
What will you do?
- Architect and build high-quality identity data products by leveraging open source, cloud, and modern data technologies.
- Design and implement large-scale, low-latency data pipelines that effectively clean and transform complex identity information.
- Conduct architectural reviews to ensure our business products remain reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient while mentoring team members to elevate their technical expertise.

You are a curious engineer who loves to understand the inner workings of the tools you use. You enjoy optimizing systems and view technology as a way to build innovative solutions at scale. To succeed in this role, you should possess the following:
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, MLOps, or database development, specifically leading complex, high-scale projects.
- Deep expertise in Apache Spark, including a strong understanding of Spark SQL internals.
- Proficiency in Python and Scala, along with extensive experience using AWS services such as S3, IAM, and KMS.
- Practical knowledge of Airflow for workflow orchestration and experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring practices.
- Strong communication skills in English and a proven ability to mentor junior engineers.
