Role at a glance
We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere. You will be a key part of our Healthjump delivery team, focusing on data logistics and building integrations that power critical patient use cases.
Your impact
- Design, build, and maintain robust ELT and ETL processes to support our growing data infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with business and development teams to define data flows, establish architecture standards, and ensure high-quality data modeling.
- Identify inefficiencies in our current systems and propose scalable solutions while documenting data lineage and dictionary requirements.
What you'll need
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience building data pipelines within a cloud environment.
- Expertise in SQL and Python.
- Proven experience working with Airflow.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively across our distributed team.
- Bonus points if you have experience with healthcare data, clinical systems like Epic or Cerner, or hold an AWS certification.
Perks and compensation
