Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Italy on a full-time, on-site basis. You will play a pivotal role within our organization, contributing to high-impact projects that shape how we handle data across our European tech hubs.
Your impact
- Collaborate with product and development teams to launch innovative projects while championing our data architecture methodology.
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring our systems remain highly available, scalable, and fully automated.
- Foster a data-centric culture by standardizing tools and procedures that make high-quality data accessible for business decision-making.
What you'll need
- Proven experience with data ingestion tools like dbt and sqitch.
- Strong technical background in managing data platforms, specifically Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or similar data warehouse and data lake technologies.
- Expertise in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Logstash and AWS data pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation and the ability to craft complex queries to support our analytics and data science teams.
- Fluency in English and a collaborative mindset that thrives in an Agile environment.
