About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work within a fast-paced Agile environment to design, build, and implement scalable micro-service systems that power our global platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and write ETL jobs while managing data cleaning and ongoing data monitoring.
- Build and maintain highly optimized data pipelines to support our infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to prioritize and schedule engineering features while applying software rigor to ensure our data systems remain reliable and extensible.
Requirements
- A B.Tech or BE degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience working with SQL, schema design, and data analytics.
- Proficiency in a programming language, with a strong preference for Python, though experience with Java or Scala is also valued.
- Demonstrated experience with data system orchestration and the design of complex pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and associated tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with customers and executives in fast-moving situations.
Location
This position is available in India and supports a hybrid work model, with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
