What you bring

We are looking for a Mid-Level Data Engineer to join our team on a Full Time basis at our location in India. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Python, Java, SQL, AWS, and Spark to evolve our complex systems and contribute to the advancement of machine learning. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:

• Designing and maintaining high-performance data pipeline architectures.
• Automating manual processes and re-engineering our infrastructure to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
• Developing sophisticated analytics tools that transform raw data into actionable business insights.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, with a master’s degree being an added advantage. We are looking for candidates with two to five years of experience in data engineering who possess strong Python or Java programming skills and advanced SQL proficiency. You should have hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, as well as deep expertise in AWS services such as EMR, Redshift, and Lambda. Familiarity with big data tools like Spark and Kafka, along with workflow management tools like Airflow and shell scripting, is essential. Beyond your technical hard skills, you must demonstrate excellent time management, clear communication abilities, and a sharp aptitude for understanding complex business objectives.
