What is this role?

We are searching for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team on a full-time basis. This is a vital position within our technology department, where you will help us derive meaningful intelligence from our rapidly expanding datasets. You will be instrumental in maintaining the stability and performance of our data infrastructure while working alongside a friendly, fast-paced team.

What will you do?

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ensure high availability and reliable performance.
• Apply software development best practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, to your daily workflow.
• Deploy code across various platforms and actively participate in Agile ceremonies to support our data strategy.

To succeed in this role, you should be a creative problem-solver with a passion for data. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional development experience using multiple programming languages.
• Proven experience working with large datastores and Big Data techniques.
• Strong familiarity with ETL processes and orchestration tools like Prefect, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Technical proficiency with AWS and infrastructure as code, specifically using Terraform.
• A collaborative mindset, the ability to navigate technical ambiguity, and a commitment to mentoring others.
• Fluency in English.
