We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the scalable infrastructure that powers our data-driven initiatives. We rely on a modern tech stack, including Python, Azure, and Oracle PL/SQL, to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities
- Design and manage robust data pipelines that extract, transform, and load information efficiently using Python and Azure Serverless resources.
- Partner with our analysts to create and refine data models, utilizing Oracle PL/SQL to ensure high performance and reliable data querying.
- Oversee our database and cloud infrastructure, including schema design, performance tuning, and the configuration of Azure services like Data Factory and Logic Apps.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive professional experience as a Data Engineer, specifically with large-scale data infrastructure.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python, Oracle PL/SQL, and Azure cloud services.
- Practical knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive within a SCRUM-based team environment.
