The opportunity

We are searching for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing team. You will serve as a software engineer at your core, bringing deep expertise in big data systems, streaming applications, and the robust monitoring of critical path services. In this role, you will partner with our product and data teams to architect and optimize our data ingestion pipelines. You will take ownership of our data ecosystem as we continue to expand our sources, ensuring that our infrastructure remains scalable and reliable for both internal and external stakeholders.

A day in the life

• You will collaborate closely with leadership, program managers, and data scientists to translate complex business requirements into high-performing data solutions.
• You will design and implement sophisticated systems that transform raw blockchain data into queryable, actionable insights for our users.
• You will develop and maintain analytics tables while championing data quality and ensuring the business logic behind our metrics remains sound.

Who you are

You are an intellectually curious professional who thrives in environments dealing with real-time data. You communicate clearly and think about data at scale, moving well beyond individual records to understand the broader ecosystem. Your background includes:

• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure, SQL, and data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Sentry.
• Technical skills in Docker, AWS Lambda, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• A strong grasp of CI and deployment systems, along with the ability to create clear data visualizations.
• A fundamental understanding of blockchain protocol mechanisms and a genuine interest in the space.
