Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain our data warehouse, schemas, and complex data flows to ensure a scalable platform.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify infrastructure pain points and implement high-impact improvements.
• Establish reliable standards for moving data between production environments and our data warehouse.
• Develop and manage alerting and monitoring systems to proactively address potential points of failure.
• Build efficient data pipelines and create self-service analytics tools that empower data scientists and analysts.
• Design data products that support core features like content recommendation and personalization.

Must-haves

• At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Spark.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing platforms like AWS RedShift or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow and integration services.
• Strong understanding of data lake or lakehouse architectures and data streaming platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical designs into business strategies.
• A pragmatic, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering results and solving complex architectural problems.
• Fluency in English.
