The opportunity
We are searching for a mid-level Data Engineer to join our growing team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be a core partner in designing and implementing the server-side services that ingest, organize, and display critical real estate insights. You will have the chance to take true ownership of your work, helping us evolve our technology stack while ensuring our platform remains the industry standard for data reliability and performance.
A day in the life
- You will build and maintain robust ETL processes to ensure our data pipelines run smoothly and efficiently.
- You will design sophisticated data warehouse solutions that directly support our analytics applications and business requirements.
- You will take full ownership of features from conception to production, which includes writing complex database queries, testing your code, and providing ongoing support.
Who you are
You are a skilled engineer who thrives in environments where you can solve complex problems. You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and you are comfortable navigating ambiguity. Your background includes:
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java.
- Deep experience with database technologies, PostgreSQL, and cloud data warehouse platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- A solid grasp of data modeling techniques, such as 3NF and dimensional modeling.
- Hands-on experience with modern tools like dbt or Dataform.
- Fluency in English.
