We function as an enterprise SaaS company, helping organizations in the hospitality, media, manufacturing, and passenger rail sectors solve intricate pricing problems. Our team combines advanced analytics with deep strategic expertise to create software that helps our clients optimize their pricing and recover lost revenue. We are currently searching for a Senior Data Engineer to join our travel and hospitality vertical in a full-time, remote capacity.
Key outcomes
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support our operational and analytical requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to integrate and transform complex datasets into meaningful insights.
- Manage the full development life cycle, from initial definition and design to implementation and testing.
- Identify data sources, create data flow diagrams, and document source-to-target mappings.
- Extract data from various sources and integrate it into a unified data model or target database application.
- Build efficient systems that prepare data for easy querying and deliver analysis-ready datasets to production.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Deep understanding of database technology, data modeling, and the use of data within analytical platforms.
- Practical experience with ETL processes and REST APIs for managing data integration.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task prioritization.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience working directly with customers in a SaaS environment is highly desirable.
