What you'll be doing
- You will develop Python modules designed to extract, transform, and load data from our external vendors.
- You will take ownership of migrating existing data flows from our legacy architecture into more modern, efficient systems.
- You will perform root cause analysis on production issues and apply those lessons to improve our long-term stability and code quality.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software and system engineering. We are looking for someone who demonstrates the following:
- Expertise in Python for scripting and algorithm development, with additional experience in languages like PowerShell, C#, or Perl being a significant advantage.
- A proven ability to design secure, highly available code that stands up to production demands.
- A systematic approach to your work, including a commitment to documentation, automation, and a deep-seated dislike for tech debt or hacky solutions.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively within our team.
- A passion for industrial standard processes and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment where we constantly learn and implement new technologies.
