We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in a full time, remote capacity from anywhere in the world.
Key outcomes
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance data pipelines capable of handling substantial data volumes.
- Enhance our existing data platform to ensure it remains scalable, efficient, and cost-effective.
- Collaborate closely with various functional teams to identify their specific data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Create monitoring tools and analytical processes to track data accuracy and model performance.
- Address and resolve complex data-related challenges as they arise.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, or equivalent achievements that demonstrate your expertise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Practical experience working with major cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- A proactive mindset focused on mastering new technologies and methodologies.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks.
- Background in building and deploying machine learning models.
- Familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure as code tools.
