We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in a full time, remote capacity from anywhere in the world.

Key outcomes

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance data pipelines capable of handling substantial data volumes.
• Enhance our existing data platform to ensure it remains scalable, efficient, and cost-effective.
• Collaborate closely with various functional teams to identify their specific data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Create monitoring tools and analytical processes to track data accuracy and model performance.
• Address and resolve complex data-related challenges as they arise.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, or equivalent achievements that demonstrate your expertise.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Practical experience working with major cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, specifically Git.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• A proactive mindset focused on mastering new technologies and methodologies.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience implementing data governance frameworks.
• Background in building and deploying machine learning models.
• Familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure as code tools.
