The opportunity
We are searching for a Data Engineer to join our Messaging Data Platform team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our data infrastructure, building and maintaining the highly scalable, reliable, and efficient pipelines that drive our messaging stacks. Your work will provide the critical data insights needed for real-time decision-making, ensuring that our internal engineering solutions remain fast and effective. This is a full-time, remote position that offers you the chance to work with a talented, distributed team while tackling complex engineering challenges.

- You will design, construct, and maintain robust data architectures and large-scale processing systems to support our growing data needs.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate complex data requirements into efficient, high-performance pipelines.
- You will actively optimize our data solutions and troubleshoot issues to ensure the highest levels of data integrity and system availability.
Who you are
We are looking for a mid-level engineer who is eager to solve problems and take initiative. You should be comfortable working in an English-speaking environment and possess the following qualifications:
- You have at least 3 years of experience working with Big Data frameworks like Apache Spark, PySpark, and SparkSQL.
- You have a strong technical grasp of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data catalogs.
- You are proficient in cloud services, preferably AWS, and have hands-on experience with technologies such as DynamoDB, Apache Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
- You are a clear communicator who enjoys collaborating with others and is ready to participate in our on-call rotation.
