What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates residing in specific U.S. states. You will play a vital role in our engineering department by building and maintaining the platforms that power our data-driven insights, ensuring they are scalable, highly available, and performant.
What will you do?
- Design and implement secure, reliable, and scalable data engineering solutions within our cloud environment.
- Translate our business requirements into technical data solutions that support our data science and application teams.
- Develop large-scale data pipelines using distributed processing techniques to handle complex datasets.

To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter with a strong background in data engineering and a passion for healthcare. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and experience:
- At least 3 years of experience building robust data engineering solutions and working with distributed computing frameworks like Apache Spark.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, including the ability to write complex analytical queries and optimize code.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, AWS services, and orchestrating pipelines with Apache Airflow.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling for both structured and unstructured data.
- A commitment to problem-solving and a desire to stay current with emerging technologies.
